Preparing for Bow Season

As bow season quickly approaches, I find myself getting all my gear ready and trying to control everything I can possibly control. One of the main things in my control is my shooting accuracy. To me, it’s all about practice. You have to shoot a lot and if you are making a mistake in your shooting, the only way to correct it is through practice. I probably wouldn’t shoot a whitetail over 45 yards since they can jump your string so well, but when you practice at distance longer than that, a 20-30 yard shot seems very easy. Really, it’s all about confidence. The more confidence you have to make a shot, the easier it is to make. For the past few weeks, I have tried to shoot every day. When the moment of truth comes, hopefully, I’ll be ready. Good luck out there!
