Now is the Time to Practice

If you’re like me, when mid-August comes around, you start anticipating the opening of bow season. We have started seeing some photos of deer on trail cameras and can’t wait to get the season started. For me the big key is practice. I like to get my bow tuned before the rush that usually happens just a couple of weekends before the season starts. I usually take my bow to Cabela’s to let the outfitters paper tune it. To me, it’s well worth it to have it paper tuned. I just have way more confidence when it is, and confidence goes a long way toward making a great shot. After that it’s just practice, practice, practice. The more you shoot, the better you get and the more ready you are for that buck of a lifetime!
